Madison Podiatry is pleased to announce the implementation of our new Electronic Medical Records System (EMR) as part of our ongoing systems improvement and progressive innovation to make your visit with us a better experience.
The EMR system will be used to assist us in automating daily operations, reduce administration time and free up valuable time for better patient care. It will increase accuracy by giving us diagnostic support and allow for instant access to the latest medical reports and up to date practices in medication administration and improve your health care efficiency and safety.
When you come in to see us, you will be asked for I.D. (such as a driver's license) and your medical insurance card so we can scan it into the EMR system. In order to keep the system up to date, we ask that you provide us updated information when there are changes so we can scan it that into the system.
We are also working on getting a digital X-Ray machine...more on that later, so stay tuned!
